Tempee in Army Band
I grew up near Rochester, NY and graduated from Victor Senior High School in 1989. After high school, I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, and studied film scoring. Three years later, I joined the U.S. Army as a guitarist. After completing the U.S. Army School of Music and jump school, I was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division Band at Fort Bragg, NC, and the 1st Infantry Division band in Bamberg, Germany. While an active-duty service member, I toured all over the United States and Haiti, performed in France, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Macedonia, the former Yugoslavia, and Czech Republic. Outside of my official duties, I also traveled to Italy, Switzerland, Ireland, and Great Britain.

In 2009, I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Jazz Guitar Performance from Towson University. I hold two Associates Degrees, one in Music and the other in Business as well as a certificate in Audio Engineering from Sheffield Institute for the Recording Arts. I was also an honor graduate of the U.S. Army School of Music, Sound Reinforcement Course.

I retired from the 229th Maryland National Guard Band in 2014, where I was a guitarist and the head sound engineer. For the past several years, I have worked as a recording engineer with many notable and international musicians and have recorded music at venues in Towson, Baltimore, Annapolis, and Washington, D.C.
